Ski or summer the "Summit" in this vacation suite, located just 65 miles west of Denver and at an elevation of 9,600 feet. Conveniently situated close to Summit County's ski resorts, the suite is only two blocks from the National Forest, which offers hiking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing opportunities. Reasonable weekly rates of $400 or less (call for specific fees) provide a great vacation spot for a family or for a couple's getaway.



Situated amidst beautiful pine trees, this home, open to non-smokers, offers guests the privacy they desire, as well as convenience to the many activities and businesses of Summit County. The guest suite, which can accommodate up to four, includes one bedroom with a queen and full bed, bath, den with a sofa-bed and a mini-kitchen. This affords guests the opportunity for light meal preparation with a bar sink, small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and outdoor gas grill.

In addition, a washer/dryer is available for guest use and the den has a TV and books for those quiet moments of relaxation.

Summit County is a year-round playground for its visitors, offering a myriad of recreational activities during every season.

Famous for its powder snow, the area's five major ski areas provide superb skiing, including night skiing, as well as the longest ski season in Colorado. Guests travel only a short distance to first-class resorts:

  • Keystone Resort - 10 miles
  • Arapahoe Basin Ski Area - 16 miles
  • Breckenridge Ski Resort - 14 miles
  • Copper Mountain - 11 miles
  • Vail Mountain - 40 miles

Winter in the mountains also means sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Or a day of shopping at the Outlet Mall or at many of the other fine stores in the area. After a full day of activity, visitors can choose from a variety of restaurants for fine dining.

Summers in the "Summit" are popular with visitors who put away their skis and enjoy the many delights of the summer season: the beauty of wildflowers; clear, gurgling mountain streams; the scent of pine trees in the air; and a host of activities to keep oneself busy.
